Marine Lake

Marine Lake was transformed from marshland in 1895 and developed as a Victorian fun fair with water slides and merry-go-rounds. In 1911 a miniature railway circling the lake opened. It is now run by the Rhyl Steam Preservation Trust. Today the site is a haven for wildlife and a 1.5km circular route of the lake may be taken on the tarmac path.
