  • Troedio Clwyd Walks

    Country Walks part of Denbighshire County Councils Troedio Clwyd Walks program enjoyed their annual presentation night at the North Wales Bowls Centre on Monday night.  With over 75 people in attendance and 20 walkers collecting awards for 100 and 500 walks. For the first time three young walkers collected certificates for 100 walks: Cameron, Shannon and Nicole Johnson attend the walks during their school holidays and have been walking with the group for 3 years. Agnes Watson and Jackie Tetlow also collected awards for 500 walks each.  Brian Hemmings Country Walks coordinator said "These walks provide people with the chance to make new friends, improve their health and well-being and an opportunity to take in some of Denbighshire's most breath-taking scenery”.
